As a lifetime athlete, Jason first began playing on a club soccer team throughout his childhood. His passion for sports led him to pursue college football at ACU, later transferring to Texas State University, where he joined the wrestling team following his football career. There, his love for the martial arts was sparked, leading to competition in Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai tournaments over the next couple of years. Possessing thorough experience in mental preparation along the way, Jason acquired the skills and knowledge necessary to combat pre-competition worry and doubt by implementing psychological techniques.

After suffering a debilitating sports injury, which tore his ACL and Medial Meniscus, requiring surgical correction; Jason decided to continue his education by pursuing his Master's in Sports Psychology. His fascination lies in the will and ability of one's mind. Jason transferred his leadership, business experience, and athletic performance by founding Parabellum Performance. His dream entails further continuation of education, ultimately pursuing his doctorate, becoming a licensed Sports Psychologist, and operating a state of the art Sports Performance center with multiple recovery therapies.
